Fife went 14-for-31 for 227 yards, one touchdown, and one interception against Bryant on Saturday.

Fife went down to the FCS level to give his career a jolt after not finding success at Fresno State. It worked, as he was a star for Montana last year. That led to him returning to FBS football, and he won the NMSU job. However, given the opponent, this isn't exactly a guy grabbing the job with both hands. We shall see where thing go.
