Max Cutforth News: Unimpressive again Week 12

Cutforth was 12-for-18 passing for 104 yards during Saturday's 17-7 loss against San Diego State.

Each of Boise State's last two games has seen Cutforth barely log triple-digit yards. Even though Maddux Madsen (ankle) is out indefinitely, his current backup may not be the Broncos' long-term answer at quarterback. Boise State's team has not scored double-digit points since Madsen got hurt, leaving room for a better replacement under center. At least for now, Cutforth remains the Broncos' preferred QB1.
