Max Klare News: Putting name in draft
Klare announced Tuesday that he'll forgo a fifth season of eligibility at Ohio State to enter the 2026 NFL Draft, Pete Thamel of ESPN.com reports.
The 6-foot-5, 243-pound Klare profiles as one of the top tight-end prospects in the 2026 draft class, so his decision to bring an end to his four-year collegiate career isn't overly surprising. After three years at Purdue, Klare transferred to Ohio State ahead of the 2025 campaign and turned in an impressive redshirt junior campaign. While appearing in all 14 of the Buckeyes' games, Klare accrued a 43-448-2 receiving line on 56 targets.
