Nico Iamaleava Injury: Ruled out vs. Ohio State

Iamaleava has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Ohio State due to a concussion, Brett McMurphy of On3.com reports.

Iamaleava suffered the concussion in the Week 11 loss against Nebraska, but the concussion-related symptoms didn't surface until after the game, according to McMurphy. The absence of the star signal-caller is huge for UCLA, as Iamaleava has thrown for 1,659 yards while completing 63 percent of his throws and posting a 12:7 TD:INT in 2025. His absence will open the door for Luke Duncan to start under center Saturday.
