Noah Thomas Injury: Only one snap in Alabama game

Thomas (back) logged only one snap during Saturday's 28-7 win over Alabama.

According to Connor Riley of DawgNation.com, Thomas tried to play in the SEC Championship Game but back spasms forced him to sit out. Without him, Zachariah Branch led UGA in receiving yards, with 53 logged on five receptions. Because the Bulldogs defeated Alabama, they ensured that Thomas would have the maximum time to recover before the College Football Playoff.
