Patrick Durkin News: Following Sumrall to Florida

Durkin will transfer to Florida, per Zach Abolverdi of On3.com.

Durkin was a stud with the Green Wave in 2025, nailing 25-of-28 field goals. Now, he'll follow his head coach Jon Sumrall to Florida from Tulane, where he'll have three years of eligibility remaining. Given Durkin's stellar 2025 campaign, and his familiarity with the new coaching staff in Gainesville, he looks like the Gators' starting place-kicker in 2026.
