Spurling has committed to play for Colorado State for the 2026 season, per Hayes Fawcett of On3.com.

Spurling will join the Rams following two years away from football due to a medical retirement. The 6-foot-7 tight end most recently played for Georgia in 2023, catching three passes for 60 scoreless yards. He will retain two years of eligibility with Colorado State moving forward.
