Royal Capell News: Planning to enter portal

Capell plans to enter the transfer portal, McClain Baxley of 247Sports.com reports.

Capell will leave the Cowboys after a lackluster freshman campaign. In the 2025 season, the 5-foot-10 wide receiver logged 10 catches for 47 yards, along with two rushes for 10 yards across 10 games. He'll enter the portal with three years of eligibility remaining.
