Skyler Bell News: Plans on playing bowl game

Bell plans on playing UConn's bowl game with the Army on Dec. 27, Joe Arruda of the Hartford Courant reports.

Bell disputed an earlier report from On3.com suggesting he would sit out the bowl game, suggesting he didn't say he wasn't playing. With only one game remaining in his collegiate career, Bell will take the opportunity to play. He somewhat slowed down at the end of UConn's 2025 regular season, with zero touchdowns in back-to-back games. At the same time, Bell also logged 195 receiving yards, and them being a relative disappointment shows just how excellent he has been in regular-season action this year.
