Trent Battle News: Adds TD in third straight game

Battle had five carries for three yards and one touchdown and hauled in 2 of 3 targets for eight yards during Saturday's 20-17 defeat versus Iowa State.

Battle added a touchdown in his third straight game. He's become the goal-line back as Kevorian Barnes has handled the volume out of the backfield. Both Battle and Barnes struggled against the Cyclones while teammate Jeremy Payne was successful with 71 yards on eight carries. Battle has accumulated six touchdowns on just 57 carries which is impressive efficiency. TCU will play at BYU next week.
