Ty Simpson News: Steps up in CFP First Round

Simpson completed 18 of 29 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns during Friday's 34-24 victory against Oklahoma. He also had six rushes for -22 yards.

Simpson started off misfiring on several throws but dialed it in more after that. After a rough showing against Georgia, Simpson completed 62.1 percent of his passes in this one en route to leading the Crimson Tide back from an early 17-0 deficit.
