Vernell Brown News: Returning to Florida next season

Brown will return to Florida for the 2026 season, per Zach Abolverdi of On3.com.

Brown will return to the Gators after a historic freshman season, where he was the first freshman in program history to collect three All-SEC honors. The 5-foot-11 wideout also finished out the 2025 campaign as Florida's WR1, where he recorded 40 receptions for 512 yards, along with one rush for 14 yards. He should remain a top option for whoever ends up under center next year for the Gator Nation.
