Xavier Scott Injury: Won't play in Music City Bowl

Scott (undisclosed) won't play in Illinois' bowl game against Tennessee on Dec. 30.

Scott was expected to miss most of, if not all, of the season after he got hurt against Western Michigan. Indeed, the star safety will miss the Illini' bowl game as well. Now, he must decide whether to return to school in 2026 or try his luck at the next level.
