Zevi Eckhaus News: In competition for starting gig

Eckhaus is in a three-way competition for the starting quarterback gig along with Jaxon Potter and Julian Dugger, per Greg Woods of The Spokane Spokesman-Review.

Washington State's quarterback play has been woeful in 2025. Against North Texas, Eckhaus was inserted and he completed 7-of-10 passes for 72 yards. That came after Potter tossed three interceptions against the Mean Green. Dugger, meanwhile has hardly played for Washington State. The quarterback room is a bit of a mess, and it's anyone's guess who will start in the Apple Cup against Washington come Saturday.
