Luke Gifford Injury: Limited to open week

Gifford (hip/neck) was a limited participant at practice Thursday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

Gifford popped up on the injury report to open the week with hip and neck issues, which he may have suffered in Week 11 against the Cardinals. With the 49ers playing the Panthers on Monday Night Football in Week 12, the linebacker will have two more chances to log a full practice prior to the contest.
