Spencer Burford Injury: Ruled out for Week 8

Burford (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Houston.

Burford landed on injured reserve in mid-September due to a knee injury he sustained in Week 2 against the Saints. He was designated to return from IR on Wednesday, but he's not quite ready to return to game action after being limited in practice all week. Burford will look to increase his practice participation during the 49ers' Week 9 prep.
