Abram Wiebe News: Acquired in trade

Calgary acquired Wiebe, Zach Whitecloud, a 2027 first-round pick and a conditional 2028 second-round selection from Vegas on Sunday in exchange for Rasmus Andersson, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Wiebe has three goals and 14 points through 24 games in his junior year with the University of North Dakota in 2025-26. Vegas selected the 22-year-old defenseman with the No. 209 overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
