Frank Vatrano Injury: Put on injured reserve
Vatrano (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, per the NHL media site.
Vatrano will miss his second straight game Wednesday versus Tampa Bay, and he isn't eligible to return Friday versus Minnesota. The 31-year-old forward has three goals, six points, 36 PIM, 67 hits and 24 blocks in 38 outings in 2025-26. Nikita Nesterenko is likely to play regularly during Vatrano's absence.
