Jakub Malek News: Posts second AHL shutout

Malek recorded a 20-save shutout in AHL Utica's 3-0 win over Rochester on Saturday.

Malek has earned two shutouts over his last two starts, improving to 5-6-1 on the season. The Czech goalie has added a 2.75 GAA and an .894 save percentage over 12 games. He's playing the backup role to Nico Daws, but Malek's recent strong play could give him more chances to gain AHL experience.
