Reimer inked a one-year, $850,000 contract with Ottawa on Monday.

Reimer gave up six goals on 28 shots in an overtime loss to AHL Rochester on Sunday, his first professional appearance this season. The 37-year-old backstop could be pressed into service as the No. 1 option for the Senators until Linus Ullmark (personal) returns.
