Matias Maccelli News: Won't play against Capitals

Maccelli (illness) won't play in Thursday's game against Washington, Luke Fox of Sportsnet reports.

Maccelli missed Tuesday's game against Chicago after skipping Monday's practice due to an illness. However, he was seemingly available to play, according to David Alter of The Hockey News. The 25-year-old Maccelli hasn't played yet in December, but head coach Craig Berube wants to get the forward into a game soon.
