Max Shabanov News: Three-point effort Thursday

Shabanov scored two goals and added an assist in Thursday's 5-0 win over the Red Wings.

The Islanders' fourth line carried the scoring load, as Shabanov, Calum Ritchie and Casey Cizikas combined for three goals and seven points on the night. It was Shabanov's first multi-point performance in nine NHL games, and the 25-year-old rookie has three goals and six points to kick off his first season on Long Island.
