Patrik Laine Injury: Officially lands on IR

Laine (abdomen) was placed on injured reserve Monday, per the NHL media site.

Laine underwent core muscle surgery in late October that's expected to sideline him for 3-4 months, so his move to injured reserve is simply procedural. He's unlikely to be in the mix to return to action until at least late January or sometime in February.
