Abdoulaye Toure Injury: Dealing with knee issue
Toure was forced off in the 58th minute of Saturday's 3-0 defeat against PSG due to a minor knee issue, coach Didier Digard confirmed in a press conference, according to L'Equipe. "We don't have a precise explanation. He had a knee pain that appeared this week, and it bothered him as the match went on. There's no serious trigger or sign of anything serious. But it was bothersome enough to prevent him from continuing."
Toure has been dealing with a knee issue since the beginning of last week that caused pain and discomfort throughout the game against PSG and forced him off before the hour mark. The midfielder will hope to recover in time for Sunday's clash against Lille as the issue appears to be minor. If he had to miss the game Reda Jousef Khadra would see increased playing time against the Dogues.
