Abu Francis Injury: Suffers serious injury

Francis (leg) suffered a serious injury during Friday's 2-0 defeat against Japan and will likely miss several months to recover, the club posted.

Francis was forced off in the 56th minute of Friday's defeat against Japan after suffering what appears to be a fracture of the tibia and fibula in a challenge. He will likely be sidelined for several months after undergoing surgery and completing a rehabilitation process. With Francis sidelined, Mario Sauer is expected to be an undisputed starter in the midfield for Toulouse.
