Saldana's contract option for 2026 was declined as the midfielder didn't convice the board to extend his stay at LAFC. Saldana made two appearances this season for the Black and Gold and contributed five tackles and three clearances. He is not set for free agency and can sign in the club of his choice to continue his career.
