Aissa Mandi Injury: Fit for Friday
Mandi (undisclosed) "is doing well" and "is ready for tomorrow; there's no risk that this injury will prevent him from playing in the future. He's playing with chronic pain, there's no risk of a long-term absence", manager Bruno Genesio told reporters Thursday.
Mandi is apparently not dealing with a serious concern despite leaving the previous match in the 39th minute. The experienced defender has made 13 consecutive starts considering both domestic and continental action, scoring once and averaging 3.5 clearances per game in that span. Chancel Mbemba could stay among the substitutes if Mandi is ready for significant playing time in upcoming contests.
