Andres Micolta Injury: Ruled out 4-5 months

Micolta underwent surgery after breaking his right kneecap during a training session and is expected to be inactive for the next 4-5 months, the club announced Saturday.

Micolta recently returned from a long-term absence and featured in a friendly game following the ACL tear he suffered in February 2025. However, he's now back on the sidelines and may not even have a spot in the roster for the Clausura season. This blow affects a Tuzos back line that must rely on Eduardo Bauermann and Sergio Barreto in central roles, with Jorge Berlanga being the only depth option unless there's a late signing to take Micolta's place.
