Angel Sepulveda News: Heading to Guadalajara
Sepulveda has signed with Guadalajara after leaving Cruz Azul in a winter transfer, his new club announced Thursday.
Sepulveda is back with Chivas, where he already spent a six-month stint in 2018, although that was one of the least successful periods of his career. He recently shone for Queretaro and Cruz Azul, producing 53 goals and 22 assists over his last 186 Liga MX matches (141 starts). He transitioned from winger to striker, and earned some call-ups to the Mexican national team in the latter role. He'll now compete with Ricardo Marin and the Apertura leading scorer Armando Gonzalez (thigh).
