Chris Richards Injury: Tight for Sunday return

Richards (ankle) is out for Thursday's match against Fulham and will be a close call for Sunday's match against Newcastle, according to manager Oliver Glasner. "Chris is not back, and for Newcastle [on Sunday] it will be quite tight. His foot is too swollen, so he can't wear a boot right now - it's too painful.

Richards is still dealing with his injury and is out at least another match, potentially missing another match with Sunday's game looking to be too tight at the moment. He is currently still feeling the pain from the injury, likely needing to see a major increase of health in the next few days to play Sunday. The club continues to use Jefferson Lerma in his place while he recovers, although Richards should earn back his starting role once fit.
