Wood (knee) is making good progress but remains a doubt for Sunday's clash against Leeds United, coach Sean Dyche said in the press conference, according to the Nottingham Post. "The international break is going to be important for a few players, to give them more of a chance to get fit. Woody is making good progress."

Wood is still dealing with a knee injury and continues to make good progress toward his return to the pitch. The striker was expected to aim for a comeback in Sunday's clash against Leeds United, but based on coach Sean Dyche's latest comment, it wouldn't be surprising to see Wood return to the match squad right after the break against Liverpool on Nov. 22. Until he is fully fit, Igor Jesus is likely to keep the starting role to lead the line.
