Chrislain Matsima News: Inks contract extension

Matsima signed a contract extension with FC Augsburg until 2030, the club announced. "Chrislain has developed exceptionally well over the past few months and has taken on responsibility. We are very pleased that he sees his future continuing at FC Augsburg and that we can continue on the path we have set together. This is a strong signal for the future of our club," said FCA Sporting Director Benni Weber.

Matsima featured in 30 games last season with Augsburg scoring once and providing one assist. This campaign, Matsima featured in every game scoring one goal and assisting once which led him to earn 13 appearances with the French Espoirs and reach the semifinals of the UEFA U21 Euro in Slovakia.
