Dan Burn Injury: Making good progress
Burn (ribs) is making good progress and training on grass with a timeframe that should be counted in weeks, coach Eddie Howe mentioned in a press conference. "Dan was given a timeframe; I am not sure how much we can shave off that with the type of injury he's got. He's out on the grass, he is running, making good progress. He is here every day, Dan will be very keen to push himself back, but it is one we need to be careful with."
Burn is working hard in his recovery from a fractured rib and was spotted running and making good progress on grass this week. The center-back will likely be back in a few weeks and his absence forces changes in the backline, with Malick Thiaw and Sven Botman as the main option to replace him in central defense until he returns fully fit.
