David Luiz Injury: Suffers muscular injury

Luiz was forced off in the 34th minute of Wednesday's 0-0 draw against Olympiakos in the Champions League due to a muscular injury, according to The Sun.

Luiz was in the starting squad for his first Champions League game with his new club Pafos but had to come off in the 34th minute with a muscular injury. The former PSG player will undergo scans in the coming days to determine the extent of his injury and whether he can be back for the game against Bayern on Sept. 30. If he cannot make it to that match, David Goldar will likely have a larger role while the coach could revert to a back four system against the Bavarians.
