Facundo Torres News: Joins Austin FC

Torres is a new signing for Austin, arriving as a Designated Player through the 2029/30 season with an option for 2030/31 after leaving Brazilian squad Palmeiras, the club announced Friday.

Torres will likely boost his new team's attacking quality on the wings, challenging Robert Taylor and Jader Obrian for playing time. The Uruguayan produced six goals and three assists throughout 29 appearances over his last season in Brazil, where he also averaged 1.1 shots and 1.2 chances created per game.
