Francis Coquelin Injury: Resumes training, remains out
Coquelin (hamstring) resumed team training since one month but remains unavailable since the club doesn't want to take any risks with him, ex-coach Luis Castro said in the press conference, according to Ici Loire Ocean. "Francis resumed team training, but we won't risk him."
Coquelin missed all the games since late September due to a hamstring injury and has been struggling with muscular issues since last season. The veteran returned to team training since one month but isn't yet ready to return to the pitch since the club doesn't want to take any risks with the captain. That said, his role will have to be determined once fully back fit since Nantes signed Ahmed Kantari as the new head coach and the roles could change in the coming weeks.
