Giovane News: Paltry display against Milan

Giovane (ankle) won two of three tackles and had one key pass and one clearance in 45 minutes in Sunday's 3-0 defeat versus Milan.

Giovane managed to start despite not being 100 percent, but didn't have his usual production offensively and was yanked at halftime. He failed to take a shot for just the fourth time in the campaign, and his streak of games with at least one cross ended at seven. He has scored once, assisted twice and logged seven shots (five on target) and seven chances created in the last five rounds. Gift Orban and Amin Sarr came on after he and Daniel Mosquera were pulled at intermission.
