Giovani Lo Celso Injury: Forced off Thursday

Lo Celso came off the bench in Thursday's UEFA Europa League match against PAOK but was forced to leave later, with manager Manuel Pellegrini saying "Gio lasted a minute and suffered a muscle injury".

Lo Celso has picked up a new injury after being used mainly as a substitute since his recovery from his last physical issue in December. He's unlikely to be available for the next league game against Alaves and could be sidelined for longer depending on the severity of his problem. With Isco (ankle) also out, Pablo Fornals may continue to benefit with significant playing time in the short term.
