Hamza Igamane Injury: Out for time being
Igamane (groin) is out for the time being and is set for assessment ahead of AFCoN, according to manager Bruno Genesio, per Le Petit Lillois. "He has been affected in his adductors since the match against Marseille. [..] Long duration? This type of injury is so random that it's difficult to give precise timelines. But a decision will be made for the CAN with the national team coach, in full harmony with the various medical staff who communicate fully with each other."
Igamane had been dealt the adductor injury and will now miss time, as the forward looks to be out for at least the week. With the forward set to represent Morocco at AFCoN in the coming weeks, he is set for further assessment, deciding what the best path is. He has seen more time as of late, although Olivier Giroud should return to a starting role while Igamane is out.
