Isco News: Assists equalizer in debut

Isco assisted once to go with two shots (zero on goal), two crosses (two accurate) and three corners in Sunday's 1-1 draw versus Girona.

Isco made his first appearance of the season Sunday after fracturing his ankle during the preseason. It did not take long for him to make an impact as he assisted Valentin Gomez's header in the 75th minute to tie the match at 1-1. He created two chances, took two shots and recorded two accurate crosses in just 30 minutes off the bench. Now that he's back healthy, he has a good chance to make the starting XI either Thursday in the Europa League or Sunday at Sevilla.
