Jens Stage News: Superb season debut

Stage scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Sunday's 4-0 victory against Monchengladbach.

Stage netted Werder Bremen's second goal Sunday in their 4 - 0 drubbing of Borussia Monchengladbach. In addition to scoring his first goal of the Bundesliga campaign, the holding-midfielder added one tackle (one won), four clearances and one block to the team's clean sheet effort across his 63 minutes of play. Stage missed the first two matches of the campaign due to a foot injury. Now healthy, he is likely to be reintegrated as a regular member of the Werder Bremen starting XI.
