Andersen was forced off before the break in Saturday's 1-0 loss against Arsenal due to a hamstring injury, coach Marco Silva confirmed in a press conference, according to Four Four Two. "Joachim has a hamstring injury. He felt something. Now it's just for us a matter of time to know if it's something more serious or a minor injury. That is really what will come in the next few hours/days after the exams, because with a muscle injury, it's just to realise how serious it can be."

Andersen will be assessed in the coming days to determine the extent of the hamstring injury he suffered in Saturday's defeat against the Gunners. The issue is muscular and raises concern about his short-term availability for the Cottagers. Issa Diop would be expected to step in at center-back if the Danish defender were to miss some time.
