Henderson suffered an ankle injury in Saturday's 2-0 victory against Sheffield Wednesday and was forced off at the break as a precaution, coach Keith Andrews said in a press conference, according to West London Sport. "There was slight contact on the top of the foot or ankle. He might have rolled it as he landed. We felt at half-time that it wasn't worth risking. Could he potentially have played on? Maybe. I'm not sure. But we made a decision not to risk it. We'll see how he is over the coming days."

Henderson will be assessed in the coming days after suffering an ankle injury in Saturday's win against Sheffield Wednesday in the Carabao Cup. The midfielder was subbed off at the break as a precaution, and the Bees will hope the issue is only minor. That said, the veteran started only one Premier League game across his last five possible appearances, therefore a potential absence would represent only a minor loss for Brentford.
