Alba suffered a knock to his knee in the first half of Wednesday's 2-1 victory against Tigres in the Leagues Cup and tried to play the second half before being forced off in the 47th minute, interim head coach Javier Morales said in a press conference, according to Miami Herald. "We don't have an official medical report on Jordi yet, but from what I understand he had a knock to the knee."

Alba suffered a knock to his knee and was also stepped on his ankle by a teammate in the first half of Wednesday's Leagues Cup clash against Tigres. The former Barcelona defender attempted to play in the second half but was forced off two minutes later as the pain was too severe to continue. He will likely be assessed in the coming days to determine the extent of the issue and whether he will need to be sidelined to recover. If that happens, Noah Allen is expected to start in his place.
