Jose Lozano Injury: Sidelined due to muscle issue

Lozano (hamstring) didn't play in offseason matchups and is questionable for the opening Clausura week due to his muscular problem, according to reporter Alberto Avalos.

Lozano has been inactive since September, and it seems unlikely for him to return in the early stages of 2026. He would be a strong contender on the left flank under normal circumstances, though the length of the injury could force him to make a gradual return whenever he's ready to play. As for his replacement, Sergio Hernandez did a good job as a wing-back at the end of last year, but Jorge Alejandro Rodriguez offers a more natural option.
