Josh Laurent News: First Premier League goal

Laurent struck a sweet volley for his first Premier League goal Tuesday, though it was in vain as Burnley were outlasted in a 3-1 defeat at home to Newcastle. In additon to his goal, the central defender produced two tackles (two won), two interceptions, one block and seven clearances across his 90-minute shift. Laurent's top-flight English goal marks a career triumph after he made 200 appearances (173 starts) in the EFL Championship prior to making his Premier Legaue debut in 2025.
