Diehl has fully cleared his ankle injury over the winter break since he featured in Monday's friendly win against Luzern and even scored a goal. This is great news for the forward since he will likely be able to play his first Bundesliga minutes of the season in the coming fixtures, eventhough he should be a bench option mainly for the second part of the season with Stuttgart.
