Kai Havertz Injury: Suffers setback

Havertz (knee) isn't expected to return until mid-January after suffering a setback, according to Isaan Khan of the Daily Mail.

Havertz was reportedly in the final stages of his recovery before a fresh setback pushed his return date at least a month. The forward is now going to be out until after the busy Christmas period. Havertz's continued absence means Mikel Merino continues to get more minutes in the attack.
