Walker-Peters would earn the start Saturday after El Hadji Malick Diouf and Aaron Wan-Bissaka departed for AFCON, playing the full 90 at right-back. He would see some decent work in the defense despite three goals allowed, recording one clearance, four interceptions and five tackles. He will likely work towards some crosses in the coming matches as well, although he was heavily restrained by City's press.
