Kylian Mbappe Injury: Joining team for Supercopa final

Mbappe (knee) "will travel tomorrow" to work with the squad as he aims to be available for the Supercopa final against Barcelona, with manager Xabi Alonso also saying that "he's much better and the feelings are good" on Thursday, Movistar Futbol reports.

Mbappe will give his team a huge attacking boost if his recovery goes as expected after his absence from a couple of matches due to his knee sprain. The star forward has had an impressive season, scoring 27 goals and delivering four assists over 23 games including both La Liga and Champions League action. As soon as he's healthy enough to start, he'll challenge Gonzalo Garcia and perhaps Rodrygo in terms of playing time.
